_{David has had a distinguished career in insurance broking. After a successful career as an aviation specialist he became Chairman and CEO of Sedgwick Ltd and a Director of Sedgwick PLC. Following the merger with Marsh McLennan companies in 1998, David was appointed to the Marsh Inc Board and became Chairman of Marsh Ltd in the UK until his retirement in 2002. He became Executive Chairman of the UIB Group in May 2005.}
