Treaty Reinsurance

The Treaty Division at UIB operates in over twenty countries worldwide, from Morocco to Japan. Our Clients include many of the largest insurance and reinsurance companies in these areas – for many of which we are the flag broker.

The UIB Treaty Team firmly believes in continuous dialogue with our clients; and as such, the Division has a policy of visiting clients frequently as well as attending the major reinsurance conferences. To enhance our dialogue with clients, our team consists of multi-lingual personnel who are able to communicate fluently in French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, German and Polish.

As part of our service commitments to our clients, we hold an annual International Reinsurance Seminar. The seminar is held alternately in London and overseas centres covering a wide range of topics. The Treaty Division’s success is due to our in-depth knowledge of the areas in which our clients operate and of the reinsurance markets where the business is placed. Part of our practice includes an insistence on very strict criteria as to the markets we utilise to place our clients’ business.
