| UIB Asia Labuan was granted license by LOFSA (Labuan Regulatory Authority) from 9th July 2009 to transact all classes of general reinsurance business. A takaful window license was also approved by LOFSA which allows UIB Asia Labuan to transact Takaful business.
UIB Asia Labuan will also handle all aviation business for our Asian clientele. Another key functions of UIB Asia Labuan is to provide modeling and analytical works for our Asian clientele UIB Asia Labuan will also set up a marketing office in Kuala Lumpur by end of 2009 to expand our marketing efforts. |
