It is with great pleasure that UIB are sponsoring a piano recital by the talented pianist Masa Tayama. This award winning artist is making his Wigmore Hall debut by playing works by Chopin / Ravel and Rachmaninov.

Masa Tayama has a parfticular affinity with Rachmaninov and has recorded works from this composer. His first recording of the Rachmaninov Sonatas was chosen by "Stereo" magazine as one of their recent "Best Recordings of the Month" and his second CD (Rachmaninov Studies) will shortly be released. Masa also intends later on in the year to release a recording of all the Rachmaninov works for solo piano, which will no doubt be well received.
