UIB’s Operations team provide continuous monthly reporting to central management and executive functions within the business, managing and delivering on cross-divisional change programmes as required. This is achieved through working closely with all areas (broking, technical services, claims processing and administration support) – defining business requirements, identifying drivers for change, and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement/increased efficiency based on emerging technological advancements within the industry.
Technical SUPPORT and OpenTWINS Assurance Leader
We are looking for a mid to senior level individual with a background in Technical Support within the London Market to become our next Technical Support subject matter expert. This role would particularly suit a candidate familiar with or currently involved in technical processing who is looking to move away from a primary processing role and into a support and Operations role.
What you will do:
- Provide expert-level processing advice on OpenTWINS
- Oversee Quality Assurance across the Technical Services teams
- Undertake Authorisation & Control activities
- Play a pivotal role in OpenTWINS upgrades, hotfixes, developments, and other process improvement initiatives
What you will bring:
- Strong London Market experience and knowledge of/proficiency with OpenTWINS (or relevant experience with similar policy processing systems within the London Market)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with people with a wide range of skills and experience
- Strong training and mentoring skills with experience in training and developing new and experienced colleagues
- Sound industry, insurance, product, and market knowledge, including regulatory awareness
