United Insurance Brokers (UIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Linden Vytelingum as Head of International Property within the Specialty Lines Division, further strengthening the firm’s global property offering.

Linden brings extensive experience across the international property market, having held senior roles at leading broking firms. He began his career at Aon as a Property Broker with the APAC and mining team, before joining ED Broking, where he worked within the International Property team managing a broad portfolio of global clients across Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

He subsequently moved to Guy Carpenter, where he contributed to the European Property offering, playing a key role in structuring and placing large and complex property programmes. He later continued similar work at Willis, further deepening his expertise in delivering tailored solutions across diverse markets and occupancies. Linden is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

In his new role, Linden will work closely with colleagues across UIB’s global network and within the Specialty Lines Division to enhance client service, strengthen market presence, and support the continued development and growth of the international property business.

Linden Vytelingum, Head of International Property at UIB, said:
“I am delighted to be joining UIB. At a time when there are very few truly independent brokers available for clients to work with, combined with the depth of expertise already in place at UIB, I believe that this is an exciting opportunity and the right time to become part of the team. UIB has a long-standing reputation within the insurance market, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth and success going forward.”

Shaun Barrington, Chief Executive Officer of UIB, said:
“Linden’s depth of experience in the international property market along with his expertise in structuring Cedant Fac Placements will be instrumental as we develop and support our clients and prospects in seeking effective and efficient solutions within the international marketplace. We look forward to his leadership within the team and support the growth of our international property portfolio.”
